Dr. He Tao is an attending physician and an associate professor with M.D. background, has more than two decades of clinical experience in orthopedics and worked at Ruijin Hospital and Tongren Hospital, both facilities affiliated to Shanghai Jiaotong UniversityMedical School, and Changhai Hospital affiliated to Naval Medical University previously. He was trained by Prof. Dai Kerong, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and multiple renowned medical experts from Tertiary A hospitals in Shanghai. As an experienced clinician, he has dedicated his career to diagnosis and treatment of joint surgery and limb trauma conditions. He is particularly skilled in artificial joint replacement (total hip arthroplasty, hemiarthroplasty and total knee arthroplasty), achieving outstanding patient outcome and high patient satisfaction among the several thousand orthopedic operations he performed. He is the reviewer of multiple international SCI journals.
Regarding limb trauma, Dr. He is skilled at minimally invasive operation and open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) of complex bone fractures (including elderly hip fracture, limb long bone fracture and intra-articular fracture. He is also an expert in sports medicine and masters minimally invasive operation with knee, shoulder and waist arthroscopy, treating various diseases including meniscus injury, ligament reconstruction and rotator cuff tear.
